These are not new just that they are being presented as new. They've been around awhile. Has everyone forgotten that US spends 420 billion dollars per year on defense? That ain't just missile expenses. A brave new world.

Blimey -- glad someone spent their research grant proving that with enough effort any kind of security can be breached. In the whole risk/cost trade off, I don't see anyone caring one jot about this kind of "threat".

In this case, all you need is a CPU where the hardware can be reporgrammed... which almost no-one makes or uses. So by continuing to buy a standard Intel or AMD system, we can sleep safely. Phew!
