Network behavior analysis vendor - Plixer International, announced yesterday the release of Scrutinizer v6.0 and is giving away a FREE professional version to all nonprofit schools, colleges and universities.

New Plixer Scrutinizer v6.0 features include:

| 2. | Improved collector performance scaling to several hundred routers and well over a 1000 interfaces.
Over 20,000 flows per second. |
| 3. | Support for distributed Scrutinizer collectors to a central interface. |
| 4. | Support for Windows Vista, 2008 Server and Linux (view the complete list). |
Plixer is also giving away more features in their free version (i.e. QoS,
Application Groups and Autonomous System trends).
