Meet the Windows Server 2008 robot

By Microsoft Subnet on Fri, 04/18/08 - 12:18pm.

The new spokesmodel for Windows Server 2008 is a robot. It hints at the Terminator movies, intended to symbolize "unstoppable" 24x7 reliability. (Click on the picture at right for a larger view.)

What is it with Microsoft and retro pop culture? Earlier this week, the company suffered embarrassment over its Bruce Springsteen-like music video intending to hype up Vista.

For those interested in exploring all the new features of WS2008, check out Microsoft Subnet Windows Server blogger, Glenn Weadock.
