standard power connector
Cell phones will have a single standard power connector. The power necessary to recharge a phone isn't magically different than that required for other devices. How many different connectors do we really need to move power from standard wall socket into a phone? Millions of miles of metal is going to the landfills each year as consumers discover their new phone requires completely different (eg. the connector) rechargers. Ridiculous. Even sillier is that consumers will pay $20-30 extra, repeatedly, for a little insulated wire with the proper end.
