The numbers from the survey results are in line with how I feel. Its ashame, but as the weeks progress, the confidence declines. However, I am not currently looking for another job, nor do I feel that I am going to lose my job (well at least 80% confident).

this insecurity is manufactured by relentless attempts to push higher the already high foreign workers

this insecurity is something you DONT see in a worker shortage, if the pro-h-1b people were telling the truth, IT workers would be feeling giddy, not depressed about their futures

i wouldnt be at all surprised if the person I'm responding to is an H-1b, 'helpfully' quieting evidence that an H-1b increase isnt necessary
