Cisco CTO Padmasree Warrior off Corning Board of Directors

Corning 2008 Proxy Statement

Padmasree WarriorAccording to the 2008 Corning Proxy Statement, Cisco CTO Padmasree Warrior earned $177,048 in 2007 while serving as a member of the Board of Directors of Corning Inc., but now no longer sits on the Corning Board.

While a Corning Board Director, Warrior sat on both the Corporate Relations Committee and Pension Committee.

Also, within the meaning of the rules of the New York Stock Exchange, Warrior had been considered an independent director of Corning Inc.

During Warrior's tenure on the Corning Board, Cisco purchased less than $135,000 of products from Corning for each of the fiscal years 2005, 2006 and 2007, and sold less than $35,000 of products to Corning for each of the fiscal years 2005, 2006 and 2007.
