Novell reported a year-over-year sales jump of 31 percent for its Linux software in its quarterly financial results yesterday, says BetaNews. The company says thanks are in order to industry deals with Microsoft , SAP, and Hewlett-Packard. Novell says Red Hat Software is the only company that generates more revenue from Linux than itself.
