Google Earth makes malware tracking that much cooler

A plain old cartoonish map of the globe featuring the latest virus outbreaks is okay, but using Google Earth to plot the location of the latest malware threats takes the level of coolness to a new level.

F-Secure is doing just that in its labs, tracking everything from virus outbreaks to spam via XML and Google Earth. The system is detailed here and engineers at F-Secure are hoping to get a video of the Google Earth mashup up soon.
