You are missing the boat if you don't focus on user mobility as the real driver for UM/UC benefits to end users and their business contact needs. That is where multimodal communication flexibility is most needed, rather than just at the desktop. As "smartphone" usage increases, that need will increase as well.
I have been emphasizing this perspective for years, but it is only lately that multimodal mobile devices have started to proliferste, starting with Blackberries, now iPhones and others.
