While even before the M&A happened between IDS/IPS companies (Symantec, McAfee, ...) and DLP companies (Vontu, Onigma, ...), CWAT, which was designed from scratch for data leak prevention, and thus which is the most comprehensive solution, had been introduced to the US market, the US media and the market are quite quiet so far about the product except for the SC Magazine:

While I believe the US market is open & the US is a free trade country, I slightly feel there may be a very thin barrier against the IT solutions made in Japan.
