Day 76
This will be my final blog post. I was approached earlier this week by a company that I had interviewed with shortly after I was laid off in February. They inquired if I was still available and wanted to have a sit down talk with me. That culminated in an offer being extended to me yesterday, which I accepted.
This has been an interesting experience and one that I hope not to have to repeat again. For all who offered comments/suggestions/criticisms of what I was posting each day, I would like to say thank you. Several of the emails were suggesting options for looking for a job that I wouldn't have thought to look at. That is where having more than one person looking at something can result in different ways of approaching the process. For those still looking or may have just been laid off, keep working at the process of find a new job and be persistent. There is something out there for you, it may just take a while to find it.
Thanks,
Ron Nutter

Congratulations Ron!
Enjoy the new job!
Congratulations
Your experience reminded me of being unemployed in 2004 after suddenly losing my job because the company I worked for went bankrupt. It's quite an awful feeling being without work. Good for you, for being persistent and finding what you want.
Good luck at your new job.
David
