I would hope so!

I understand where the article went with this but the fact of the matter is if my pile-o-hardware junk box on MY desk can dual boot Windows and Linux, I would hope that an elite super computer could do it with ease.

i can understand that. this way, they can compare a well built OS which runs 85% of the high end systems to a not so well built OS.

Well, no. In fact WinDuhs will not run on many supercomputers whereas Linux would. I think it is safe to say that WinDuhs will run on absolutely none of the supercomputers which have a non-x86 CPU (and that includes the Intel Itanic - or was that Itanium).
