Meet world's first CCIE at Cisco Live! Orlando: Terry Slattery will be in booth #249 - Chesapeake Netcraftsmen

Terry SlatteryMeet in person Terry Slattery - Cisco CCIE No. 1026, the first CCIE in history, at the Chesapeake Netcraftsmen Booth #249 at Cisco Live! 2008, Orlando Florida, June 22nd to 26th.

Terry earned the first CCIE Number 1026 on August 3rd, 1993 and last month recertified.

Terry told yours truly:

"I'll be hanging around the Chesapeake Netcraftsmen Booth #249, at breaks and various times."

"They will have 300 copies of my Top 25 Network Problems posters in their booth."

"Besides myself, there will be a number of early CCIEs in the Netcraftsmen booth #249, some of whom were instrumental in training a large number of people while they worked with me at Chesapeake Computer Consultants (known as Chesapeake - see ccci.com for the logo - the company is no longer in business and Netcraftsmen is the follow-on company with many of the same people)."

"Pete Welcher - CCIE No. 1773 Routing and Switching who has an incredible following of people and who writes about a lot of topics."

"Marty Adkins - CCIE No. 1289 Routing and Switching who was one of the Chesapeake Senior Instructors and who planned the CCIE training program at Chesapeake. He has been instrumental in training a large number of CCIEs."
