Dunno? Maybe because we all bought XP on June 29th?
Dunno? Maybe because we all bought XP on June 29th?Dunno? Maybe because we all bought XP on June 29th?Dunno? Maybe because we all bought XP on June 29th?Dunno? Maybe because we all bought XP on June 29th?
Why?
Why bother with Microsoft? The only thing they haven't failed at is marketing the same old crap-in-a-box to you sheep. Open source is the future. Watch. First gas, then Windows. Bend over.
Not another fan boy
Why is it that these so called "open source freedom afficionados" are so intent on making everyone use what they think is worth it.
Here's a little tip for you Anon, the Open Source Sheep, your attitude does more harm than good. The Open Source Initiative, as well as the Free Software Foundation have one core belief, do you remember what it is...FREEDOM. That definitely includes freedom of choice. So you calling other people sheep is not only harmful it's also fanatical, elitest, and ignorant. Grow up and help the movement you love so much by educating people and not by jabing your finger at them.
And incase you get all offended and hurt and say "I bet he's a M$ Windows user" let me blow that bubble. I've been using FSF and open source software for years on many a different OS.
To all other sane people around if Windows your thing power to ya, but just remember there are more powerful options out there both free and not.
Why is it that these so
Because they are the open SOURCE movement, although they think they are not the open CHOICE movement. The only difference between the two camps is that open source costs less up front. You still need to pay for support. Both camps are bigots toward the other camp.
Why
Why wait for Windows 7 when Ubuntu is here today and Free?
pffa
why wait for windows 7 when snow leopard will be here tomorrow?

Comparing known quantities to unknown quantities always cracks me up, cheers guys!
Frankly I'm curious to see what happens as a network engineer (lets face it, I spend most of my time earning a living supporting MS products - not because they break more but because of basic install base).
Before you all take a crack I run MCE 2005, Vista and Ubuntu personally...
Reality check
Why is it that articles about Microsoft always attract comments about how everything else is better? OS-X, *nix, older versions of Windows you name it.
Reality check:
OS-X = artsy, 110% chance the user is gay (Don't believe me? Look at Apple's market share compared to sexuality statistics)
*nix = not useful in the least on a business level, users have higher IQ but lower social standing
Win* = crappy OS, obsessed with backward-compatibility, most people think it *is* their computer, people use it because they think there is no other choice or that choosing something else will cause them too many problems.
All in all, everything anyone makes is junk, throw away the computer, it's no good to you.
What a load of . . .
This is one bitter little man. Forget to take your valium today?
I shouldn't waste the time, but *nix "not useful in the least on a business level" you really are a no nothing boob. Get out of the basement every now and again.
I guess it is time for you to toss your computer (what is your OS - DOS? the only one you didn't bitch about) and stick to a pencil and paper. Or does the pencil poke you sometimes?
From one very straight, very non-artsy Mac OS X guru.
Why is it that Microsoft
Why is it that Microsoft continues to cheat all of its ongoing customers but when people try to cheat them they sue the living **** out of them? Vista is nothing but a next gen NT or ME. The worst part is that it is now going to be the building block for many crappier OS' down the road. I wish that microsofty would still allow people to buy or at least license and use windows XP after the discontinue it....Oh thats right the do. An the funny thing is they know Vista sucks or they wouldn't have extended the half life for XP till 2014.
