Microsoft this week released its Hyper-V virtualization server, which has been years 
in the making. Today the technology lacks the breadth of functionality VMware offers, but now that the technology is readily available, could Microsoft wrest market share from VMware with its no-cost entry point and by shipping the technology with Microsoft Server 2008?
