Doodle's additional features

Mark

Thanks for the interesting article. I'd like to add a few comments:

- It is possible to edit an entry you made, the corresponding links are in the context menu in the upper left corner (just below the Doodle logo) on each poll page.

- Doodle also allows participants to comment, there's a link below underneath the "Participate" button on each poll and in the context menu.

- Doodle supports a number of additional features, all the links can be found in the context menu: export poll to Excel or PDF, export dates via to calendars like Outlook, subscribe to poll changes using RSS, integrate poll summary into blog or web page.

- As for what-if functions: We provide the Excel export to support all possible manipulations.

- Doodle supports scheduling in different time zones: http://doodle.ch/power.html

- Doodle offers you to open an optional account which provides you with a dashboard with all your polls: http://doodle.ch/mydoodle/login.html

Best regards
myke.

(Full disclosure: I am a co-founder of Doodle.)

Have you tried ScheduleOnce?

Of course there are many websites that try to deal with this problem of scheduling meetings. I've tried several and www.scheduleonce.com is my personal favorite.

TimeBridge

TimeBridge does combine most of these features you're talking about. I've tried Doodle and WIG and they're fine for casual use, but TimeBridge is way better for real business use and connects with calendars, as you suggest. Seems like web apps should be beyond cutting and pasting links and writing down codes for later use.
