Checkpoint fills gap....with krap
Checkpoint is so over-priced and has such bad support as to make one's head spin. Though they continue to thrive in the firewall space for god only knows what reason, their endpoint solutions are a horrible mess. We've been promised countless times that certain features were coming...all lies.
Checkpoint is more interested in checking all the money out of people's wallets than delivering service with honesty and integrity.
Bad Support
I'd would agree with a previous note about support.
Atrocious and arrogant.
Bad Support
Whenever people say 'Aw, that Damone is a loudmouth' -- and they say that a lot -- I say 'You just don't know Damone.' When someone says you're an idiot, I tell them 'Damone's not an idiot. You just don't know him.'
Some of the previous overly negative comments don't pass the sme
Come on guys - how can you be so overly negative about a well respected company like Check Point unless there is some competitive motive here? The independent reviewer pointed out that IPS-1 is the best in the industry for both host and server protection - hardly a "krap" product as one previous comment read. Support issues are consistent across all tech companies. Most people that I know consider Check Point to have good support. Check Point employs the largest team of developers in the Security Space - I'm sure that they'll provide deeper management tool integrations in future releases as the reviewer requested - it's always been one of their strong points as a company.
