Controversial patent troll tracking Cisco lawyer quits for law firm

The former Cisco IP director who outed himself as author of the controversial Patent Troll Tracker blog and subsequently sued - along with his former employer - for alleged defamation has turned up at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. According to Corporate Legal Times, Richard Frenkel said his decision to leave Cisco for the law firm's IP litigation practice  "wasn't a direct result of the blog blowup," but, rather, that the blog renewed his interest in patent litigation.
