Is that all they've got?

Pretty weak presentation on the state of security in a virtualized world.

Most of these issues have been well know in the market for years and can often be avoided by good design and following mature & well-known security best practices. Defense in depth anyone?

Of course if you are just trying to promote yourself by getting headlines, then I would say the Black Hat speakers have succeeded. Too bad they didn't succeed in establishing any real credibility.

Thanks for pointing out the things we should be looking out for but the fact is, the virtualization train will not be stopped and there will be great financial reward for those companies that can figure it out. They may even need to hire some black hats to help protect themselves

So all aboard and enjoy the ride.

I am betting that 90% of all corporations have a couple of servers doing all the work and the others sitting idle doing nothing. Virtualization will cut server count in half and distribute traffic so that there are no idle server anymore.

security will be forced to catch up
