Cisco VP quits for Ipanema

Reza Mahdavi, former Cisco vice president of corporate affairs has left to join WAN optimization firm Ipanema Technologies as president. The 14-year Cisco veteran who also served Cisco posts as head of global and strategic partners, president of EMEA emerging and developing countries is described by Ipanema CEO Jean-Yves Leclerc as having an "extraordinary wealth of knowledge in cutting edge technology combined with a passion for excellence in global business leadership." Ipanema provides application traffic management and WAN optimization tools to telcos and large enterprises.
