Vista

I'm happy with it.

No... I think you're an idiot

Business vs. consumer

Here's my take. People in general only are using computers, be it PCs or Macs for general light applications, i.e. Office and Internet access. Kids with money get to have Macs. Others get whatever comes with their PC...Vista. Business users are who Microsoft needs to target and Seinfeld isn't going to change the overwhelming challenge presented by the crappy OS, Vista.

Vista this

It will be buggy just like XP was and after a couple service packs it will be better, that is the Microsoft way

Who is this writer??

Honestly… I agree with the other guy. You ARE in idiot. If you don’t want to use Vista go use an old version or just go to Linux. Just stop writing what you think is funny and intelligent prose. Seriously, I get a headache from reading this article. Have you EVER written a piece of software? If you have, was it ever bug free? Maybe if your program writes “Hello World” 5000 times on the screen. If you ever try to write an article again I SWEAR I will make it my life’s mission to get you fired and never let you get hired as a writer again. This is a waste of my time. I thought I was going to be reading a good article. I never heard of you and I will never read your crap again. Your opinions are garbage.

You need a pill

Seriously, you should check into Prozac or something. You're going off the deep end, Mr. Gates.

Vista Sucks. Still.

Fully one third of the Vista sales have gone to 'downgrade' licenses and installed XP instead. The rest have no choice and/or no skilz.

When XP was released, before it was ready, Micro$oft followed it with a service pack -- in less than a week. XP's sp2 repaired a number of flaws, but one in ten of those who applied sp2 were given BSODs in place of promised joy.

I continue pursuing Linux and The Perfect Desktop Experience -- next stop, Xubuntu.

In total aggreement

I am horrified at all the applications where Vista ruins my efforts. It stalls, it improvises and it constantly acts without my knowledge, interfering and changing the way I work. Also it refuses to accept a lot of tools I desperately need and that used to work so excellently on XP. I have a computer much more advanced than my last, but Vista has severely downgraded my functioning.

Vista - probably responsible for current recession

Bill Gates was the trigger man that brought down the U.S. economy. Vista not only crashed millions of P.C.'s it also crashed Wall Street. To be remembered in history as the big bloated o/s that couldn't. Jerry and Bill will make great steaming piles of commercials that will become classic objects of scorn on youtube, while Microsoft continues to navigate in circles as Mr. Gates last act was lashing the steering wheel to the mast with a tether made of old X-Box cords.

Insanity must surely be trying to improve crap softare with bad commercials, is there anyone left at the big M that understands the nature of reality, or are all the lemmings heading overboard?
