Winners of the August book and training giveaways

Congratulations to James Patterson Wicks (pictured, right), senior security analyst, Technology Governance Group at NBC Universal. Wicks won a free training course worth up to $2,500 from New Horizons Computer Learning Centers.

To win, Wicks correctly answered the trivia question: New Horizons instructor and Microsoft Subnet blogger Chip Wenz wrote a three-part series with guidance on how to study for exams. In Part II, Studying outside the MOC, he mentions a "device that I have seen students use for memorization" … what is that device?  Answer: Flash cards.

Wicks says he is going to use his free training to study more Microsoft security products, perhaps even Microsoft's new Forefront Security apps.

Congratulations also go out to the following winners of Pearson Education's monthly book giveaway. Each of them correctly answered the trivia question: On page one of the chapter excerpt from Microsoft Dynamics 4.0 Unleashed, what does Figure 7.4 depict? Answer: Add attachment.
