Monopolies never seem to innovate
Seems Phone companies never innovate.
Answering Machines (voice messages), call ID, FAX, internet, cell phones, VoIP - can you think of any innovative products these guys brought to market? They seem to spend more on lobbists than research. Do they have more lawyers than engineers? (bet they spend more on lawyers).
I'd make similar rants about MicroSoft.
I mostly agree with this
I mostly agree with this article. The VoIP carrier war will be won by the most innovative companies and not but those companies that control the largest network. It is truely a revolution with new opportunies for all. However, low cost access to bandwidth will be a major factor in determing who emerges as the leader in VoIP carrier service.
