Gimmiv "worm"

Gimmiv.A is not a worm, it is a trojan. A worm actively operates and spreads through human inaction (ie. not patching). A trojan spreads by humans intentionally executing a trojan program.

Trojan to get the first install, worm to infect the inside network. It's a hybrid and the "It's not a worm" crowd needs to educate themselves on advances in the malware industry. You're doing yourselves a disservice as the creators know that the initial infection has to get through the hard shell (past firewalls that block RPC) to the inside network where things are mightily relaxed where the worm portion can come alive and actively spread.

Its a trojan its a worm!!!!!!!!!!!!!
