While Hayes was synonymous with innovative communication tech, they lost money while the Internet was dial-up. While Sun invented Java Technology, they are laying off people?
Contrast this with .NET. MS is making money hand-over-fist.

That is one company I have been wanting to go under. All SUN does to the market is create products that move technology backwards. Yea Yea many people like Java among other products Sun has created over the years, but there is a reason MS has crushes them in every market they challenge them in...There is so much more to hardware and software then the best programming skills. MS gets this better then anyone.

...I'm guessing that these so-called analysts are probably the same idiots who said that Apple was doomed, that IBM would go bankrupt, that Linux had no future, that the 747 would never get built, etc. etc. etc.
Could we perhaps one day have commentary from individuals who know what they're talking about, instead of bandwagon jumpers?
