From Cisco Subnet: Cisco wants you to think of its brand when you think consumer electronics. Going against big guns like Apple and Sonos it has been busy pre-briefing journalists about its push into the consumer electronics space, which Cisco CEO John Chambers, said would be worth $10 billion to Cisco in 5 years.
Among the products it announced today include a wireless multiroom audio system and a digital media network-attached storage device.
