Hello Abbas,

Unfortunately, I cannot help you get a date. CCIE Lab reservation is an online system, and you need to go to our website to schedule your lab. If the system is not showing you any seats, that means there is no availability and all seats are taken. However, i advise you keep trying every few days, as sometimes candidates drop out and seats do become available.

Yusuf

Booking exam

Hi Yusuf, When booking an exam date do you have a selection of dates or is the lab only run on particular dates at the testing centres ?

Thank You, Alan

Hi Alan, When booking exam

0

Hi Alan,

When booking exam dates online, you can select a particular site (e.g. RTP or SanJose or Brussels), and will display available seats. If the displayed dates are not acceptable, you keep clicking Next available seats and it goes on showing you future availabilities. The system is automatic and will display only seats during the OPEN days of testing centre.

Will ASDM be allowed in BluePrint V3 Lab ?

0

HiYusuf,

I see Cisco pushing so much toward ASDM for ASA device with many features and SNAF (642-524) exam mainly focus on it. Even SNAA is also showing lot of stuff for ASDM too.

Just wondering.... Will ASDM be allowed or installed on ASA device in BluePrint V3 Lab exam ? As we have access to IPS IDM for configuring IPS box.

Well, I am working toward my CCIE Security BP version 3.0 and just wanted to be clear on that.

Thanks
Riz

Hi Riz, ASDM will not be

Hi Riz,

ASDM will not be allowed in the exam for ASA, only CLI is used to configure the ASA firewalls. However, IPS Device Manager (IDM) will be allowed to configure IPS sensor.

What equipment will be allowed for config in BP Ver3?

Hi Yusuf

Thanks a lot for above question.

Well, I got very basic but fundamental question to ask you.

What equipment will be allowed for configuration in Blue Print Ver3? I meant BB Routers, CA Server and FRS or anything where we can make changes.

Will there be open ended question like R&S Lab? As I can’t any announcement for Security Lab.

Just wanted to be clear what would be allowed to configure and what isn’t!

Thanks
Riz

Hi Riz, Equipment in

Hi Riz,

Equipment in blueprint is as follows;
http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/ccie/security/lab_equipment_v3.html

Candidates cannot view/change/add/modify any BB devices. You are allowed to access only equipment in your POD.

The open-ended question a.k.a 'Core Knowledge section' is currently implement for R&S track only, we will announce expansion into other tracks later.

Hope that helps.

Yusuf

Extension maybe?

Hi Yusuf,

I know this is wishful thinking, any chance of the rollover date to v3 being extended? I'm still checking everyday for open slots before April 20.

Thanks.

Re: Extension maybe?

At this point, there is no plans for extension. The 20th April cutover date remains fixed.

Yusuf
