SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 available via Microsoft Update
FYI…SQL Server 2005 SP3 has been available on the Microsoft Download Center
since 12/15/2008. However, as of tomorrow SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 will be available via Microsoft Update. Therefore, watch for the download if you have configured automatic updates.

Hi, I have a problem with SQL server express that did not complete the installation at shutdown, it stopped the sql server and cannot install or complete the installation again. The reason behind is windows .msi file is making an error. Have you any comments or solutions to solve the problem...

SQL Server Installation Error
Hello Ehtesham,
There could be many reasons causing the failure of the installation. The best place is to start is to review the SQL Server installation logs. In addition, the newsgroups are a great way to obtain support on similar SQL Server issues.

error code 2B2F installing windows update sql server pack 3
I have abrand new HP computer w/ Windows Vista Home Prof version.
I received a notice to update the SQL server - tried to run the update and it failed giving me error 2B2f.
I just cannot get it to work...any suggestions?

Its a program for running SQL queries in databases.
Its not essential for me so I'll put up with out it until there is a new version, that hopefully what conflict with anything else. Alternatively you could try reverting back to the previous version (you know it works), I'm sure its supported on the microsoft site.
