Nortel lays off 3,200 more
By Jeff Caruso on Wed, 02/25/09 - 11:33am.Nortel, still in Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, announced today that it is laying off 3,200 more workers, "incremental to the 1,800 remaining reductions from previously announced plans."
The company is in the midst of developing business and financial restructuring plans to emerge from bankruptcy protection.
