As one Twitterer notes, it could be coincidence or it could be conspiracy - either way, users are reporting that Earthlink is having troubles today.
Users report that they can't get to sites hosted by Earthlink and can't get to e-mail. And earthlink.com is unresponsive as well.

I host my site on Earthlink, and I can't get to the site or to the admin pages on cc.earthlink.net. It's been like this for a couple of hours (rough guess), and is still down as of 12:20PM Eastern US time.

It is down in Wilmington, NC and has been since 8am.

I was advised by Earthlink that the Pasadena California location had a major power outage and domains and email assigned to that location were down. As of 3:30pm EST... it remains down. My site, www.Forms.com remains down as well and Earthlink gave no projection when they would be back up and running. Whats worse, Earthlink had no backup power contingency!!!

ours is down too-- it's 9:30 a.m. on the west coast. does anyone have ideas for how to get updates from the earthlink "team"?
