GM's loss is Cisco's gain: Cisco added to Dow
By Jeff Caruso on Mon, 06/01/09 - 4:51pm.Cisco will be the newest addition to the Dow Jones Industrial Average, after automotive giant General Motors declared bankruptcy. When GM is removed next week, Cisco will take its place.
The change says something about what Internet infrastructure has become to the nation. Jim Duffy has more.
