Similar to the deal offered when Microsoft launched Windows Vista, the company will offer pre-orders of Windows 7 at deeply discounted rates. But you have to be eager, because the sale only lasts two weeks, reports Computerworld.

People in the U.S., Canada and Japan, can pre-order copies of Windows 7 Home Premium ($49.99) or Windows 7 Professional ($99.99), which will be delivered on October 22. Microsoft says that these prices are up to 58% lower than standard list prices. The pre-order sale ends July 11 in the U.S. People in the U.K., France and Germany will be offered similar pre-order deals beginning July 15.
