Free Microsoft "Trident" software to help scientists ditch clutter

Microsoft Research intros software at Faculty Summit

The Chronicle of Higher Education reports that Microsoft Research has released free Project Trident software to help scientists better organize their data. The visual tool is designed to eliminate the need for colleges to each create their own workflow tools. The Ocean Observatories Initiative is already using the software, according to the report.
