This morning the iPhone joined the Microsoft OCS party in grand fashion with its first client, or app in Apple-speak. The client isn't from Apple, or even Microsoft, it's from a small 3rd party in the Microsoft ecosystem called Modality Systems.

OCS client for iPhone

Although I'm a Windows Mobile user (darn Verizon with no iPhone), others at CCO installed the OCS client app on their iPhones this morning and have had very positive feedback. It doesn't require any special configuration on the backend, unlike the current Blackberry solution. It just seemlessly works.

If you're an iPhone user just search for the app in the Apple App Store or check it out on the web.
