Windows is notorious for leaving lots of leftovers around after a program uninstall. Windows 7 is no different. Whether you use the Control Panel uninstaller or a default uninstaller listed with the application in the start menu, traces are still left in the registry and on your hard disk. Enter Revo Uninstaller.
Revo Uninstaller isn't one of those "driver update" programs that spams you with junk, it's a fully legit tool that runs the default uninstaller but then offers you deeper and deeper levels of scans to seek out elements the program's uninstaller left behind.
Smartly, Revo Uninstaller analyzes the application's footprint in your OS before uninstalling it, giving Revo good clues about what's in the registry and on the hard drive before uninstall, making post-uninstall clean up much easier.
After performing the default uninstall, Revo performs its secondary scan, presenting what it found so you can decide how to best deal with it.
Revo performs some tasks similar to msconfig, like enabling/disabling startup programs, but built into Revo are some other handy features like opening up a Windows Explorer view or regedit right where the file or entry is located, or performing a Google search to help you figure out what an unfamiliar startup program might be.
Revo Uninstaller is one of the small but extremely useful utilities every Windows user with at least a modest level to technical acumen would find helpful in keeping your system running fast and clean.

Who are the authors of this software?
The software looks great but I'm curious who the authors are. The website for vsrevogroup.com is a blank page. Has anyone done a detailed analysis of the software to insure there isn't any hidden application within the code?
