Cisco Makes the Best Routers
It is nice to see Cisco get back to its roots. Hands down they make the best routers...I am happy to see new products come out in this bad economy.
Overpriced
Looks overpriced to me. Not interested in incremental upgrade in this bad economy. Still dealing with buggy software from G1.
Here's your chance
Here's your chance to point Network World readers to a Cisco competitor product that matches the new Cisco ISR G2.

juniper j6350
Juniper can already match.
The SRX series from Juniper
I would actually compare the SRX Series Services Gateways to the G2 rather than the J Series. Should be a relatively easy win on most features plus you get JUNOS.
Multicore ... ?
I heard that IOS can only run on a single core with the second core sitting idle on G2.
You heard?
The boxes were just announced and haven't even shipping. How did you "hear" this?
Quite trying to spread FUD and find something else to do than slag Cisco.
A little bird told me ;-)
A little bird told me ;-)
Whats your point
You come here to slander a vendor and have absolutely no proof. Their performance has been greatly increased with the new boxes and so many new features including virtualization and all you can say is some "a little bird told you"
Stop the FUD, it makes you look bad..
viral marketing
In this day and age of viral marketing, Cisco should learn to treat customers and employees with respect. No matter how small and insignificant. You never know when someone you "dissed" is going to come back to haunt you. This is something you need to learn as well.
