Error message, writ large, Day 4

By Paul McNamara on Fri, 02/24/06 - 5:42am.

Yes, indeed, the stampede is slowing: A mere 85,000 visitors made the pilgrimage to our Web site yesterday to gaze upon Adam Gaffin’s photo of The World’s Largest Windows Error Message.  The tally had exceeded 105,000 on Tuesday and 140,000 Wednesday.

So far this morning we’ve seen about 12,000 hits on that page, which at this pre-dawn hour still constitutes about half the total visitors to the site.

All this and there’s absolutely no nudity in the photo.

If you still haven’t read Gaffin’s account of how all this started, you can see it here.
