See Microsoft’s Origami right now

By Paul McNamara on Mon, 02/27/06 - 6:06am.

(There's a Buzzblog March 9 update on Project Origami here.)

None of this is what we call here in the news business “confirmed,” so please absorb with all the appropriate cautions.

There’s a video clip bouncing around – here and here, for example -- that appears to show in action the much discussed Origami Project “lifestyle PC” from Microsoft that we talked about last week. According to a number of blogs, the clip was first visible over the weekend at Digital Kitchen’s Web site, although it’s apparently no longer there.

Do you sense the not-so-invisible hand of Microsoft’s marketing machine here?

You can read chatter about Origami practically anywhere, including this news story on our site, but the folks gathered around Engadget appear to be particularly engaged.

The official Origami site promises more details March 2.
