Winners of our October giveaways snagged free books and training

We are tickled to announce the winners of our October giveaways. The grand prize winner of the October Microsoft Subnet giveaway is Wendy Newton (pictured), IT manager for Bowman and Brooke LLP. She won a free Microsoft training course from Global Knowledge. Wendy is overseeing a whole bunch of state-of-the art technology projects for her company including the installation of Exchange Server 2010 with Outlook Voice Access and Unified Messaging. She plans to use her free training to take an Exchange 2010 course.

Wendy correctly answered the trivia question According to Glenn Weadock's  September 30 blog post, what is the term for "a network interface mode in which the NIC reports every packet that it sees"? Answer:  "Promiscuous mode.”

In addition, the following 15 people won a copy of Microsoft Expression Web 3 In Depth by Jim Cheshire.
