Samsung this week launched its zx10 phone, which utilizes UMTS wireless technology for additional wireless Internet download speeds. The zx10 is exclusive to Cingular, and is one of the first phones to feature UMTS technology in the U.S., Samsung says.
The zx10 includes an internal color display (262,000 colors) and external black and white screen. Features include an MP3 player, 1.3 megapixel digital camera (with 2x digital zoom, self-timer and multiple shot features), video and audio streaming (supports Cingular's new video download service), and 50MB of memory to share between the MP3 player and camera. A removable microSD memory card is also supported.
More details on the phone are available at this Cingular Web site.
