This is a nit but I think it deserved a comment. There is a difference between SaaS and MSP. Us ITSM vendors confuse the issue because we like to use the word "service" a lot.
Service-now.com provides an IT service management application via software as a service (see, I just used "service" three times in that sentence). We have managed service providers as partners (CompuCom and Dimension Data for example) who use our SaaS application as the platform to provide end user customers with their process expertise and people to perform the services. Clear as mud?
I think it would make an interesting story to speak with MSPs who have made the huge decision to move their business off an on-premise, legacy ITSM application and moved to a modern SaaS application.
At the end of the day, Service-now.com is a SaaS application. Most of our customers (IT organizations) just need an application. But we've teamed up with some of the best MSPs in the world for businesses that need an application, IT professionals and process guidance.
