Next week, Cisco is unveiling the "next phase" of its Borderless Networks strategy. The first phase was launched last October with the introduction of the ISR G2 branch routers, which are optimized for video and virtual services.
This next phase focuses on "evolving the way that customers manage, scale, secure and govern their network," and has a large switching component, presumably for the campus (not data center). According to the PR pitch, it will include:
