Video: Kyocera returns to smartphone market

The ZIO smartphone offers lower price entry, Android OS

One of the earliest smartphones to be created was the Palm-based device from Kyocera Wireless, which showed you could add a phone to a PDA. The company eventually left the market to concentrate on entry-level cell phones, but at CTIA Wireless 2010 in Las Vegas this week they returned to the smartphone market with its new Android-based offering, the ZIO.
