Hello All and Welcome back to Under the Hood with Scott Honeycutt
Today's topic will be on the book I have worked on with the Pearson Technology Group, this part study guide, part video and part certification preparation is a one stop shop for your Comptia A+ certification.
This was a very exciting project to work on. When I was reviewing these videos for accuracy I was saying to myself, WOW where was this when I was trying to get my A+ certification. For persons who want break in to the technical world and who can't afford the sometimes very high prices to take instructor led training then this Cert Kit is for you. The videos walk you through step by step on what to do to make you a better technician as well as prepare you for the 220-701 and 220-702 exams.
Since this book is priced very well, young technicians can not only afford the product but are being led by actual technology instructors who have not only been in the field for many years but who have taken these exams as well. So, if you want a career working with computers then this is a great place to start.
Since this book is the reason I am here this month our host Network World has ever so graciously put an excerpt on this blog for your viewing. They have also provided a contest for some lucky person to win a copy of this and have placed a link on their site to the InformIT website that you can go to purchase this book. I know you will love it; I was very impressed with the finished product. I can also tell you that this was not just put together in a few days. This took a considerable amount of time to complete.
I hope you found this informative. Next week I will be talking about the ICND1 and ICND2 Cisco exams.
If you have any questions at all about the book, please post a message and I will get you an answer.
Have a Great Week Everyone!
