Targus offers mobile Bluetooth laser mouse

By Keith Shaw on Wed, 08/02/06 - 11:25am.

Targus Bluetooth Laser Notebook MouseIf you're going to offer a peripheral, might as well be one that offers almost everything. Targus is thinking this way with its new Bluetooth Laser Notebook Mouse, which incorporates three of the latest technology trends (Bluetooth wireless, laser mousing, size/portability). The $69.99 mouse (model AMB03US) works with Bluetooth-enabled PC or Macintosh notebooks and includes a battery that recharges while the mouse is being used (via USB cable, however).

The laser technology offers "up to 20 times the sensitivity of a standard optical mouse," Targus says, and lets users switch from 800 dpi to 1600 dpi on the fly. The Bluetooth wireless technology lets you move the mouse up to 33 feet away from the computer.

More details are available at this Targus Web site.
