Scrapbooking for the digital set

By Jason Meserve on Wed, 09/27/06 - 6:14pm.

For those of you that never excelled in cutting straight lines and writing neatly, but still want to make cool scrapbooks, Scrapblog may be for you. Its new online service does all the scrapbook-like things such as adding backgrounds, "stickers", comments, photo cropping and borders. It goes beyond the physcial world by giving the ability to add video and music, as well as display pages as a slide show. Each Scrapblog has a unique URL, RSS feed and e-mail notification syste. The company plans to make money by selling book versions of the Scrapblog for those that want to display them on a coffee table.

Now, the DEMOFall program book says the company has no direct competition, but I do know for a fact that Creative Memories is offering a similar online service for electronically creating a scrapbook and having it professionally printed and bound.
