Screencast: Deploying KVM virtual machines with openQRM

The openQRM team created a screencast about how to deploy KVM virtual machines with openQRM 4.1.
It gives an overview of the provision cycle and shows how openQRM manages physical systems and virtual machines in a transparent way. Additional the video introduces the "image-shelf" plugin which provides server-images ready for deployment. This new add-on makes it a lot easier to get started because it saves the server-image creation step.

Please find the video via youtube or in full quality at http://www.openqrm-ng.net/downloads/openqrm-kvm-deployment_4.1.wmv

RIM’s WES, Tuesday: Lazaridis' keynote, Neverfail's high availability app

Part 1: The Speech

A “missed opportunity” is the best way to describe the keynote speech by RIM president Mike Lazaridis, opening the first full day of RIM’s annual Wireless Enterprise Symposium.

It was preceded by a short corporate video, featuring Lazaridis sitting before a whiteboard covered with scientific equations. It was the standard fare: the executive, obviously responding to questions and comments, holding forth on various topics. Against all odds, and all expectations, it was better than Lazaridis’ in-person speech.

Video Killed the Radio Star (Part 3 of 3)

In part 1 of this series we talked about why video traffic is increasing on networks. In part 2 we focused on some key questions to ask in order to get your arms around video apps and their impact on your network. We also left you with a short poll on types of video applications currently being used on your networks. In this last segment, we will look at some specific things you can do in your network to prepare it to be "Video Ready".

Video Apps on Your Network
