I got a press release yesterday from MuxLab about its newest video balun.

I have no idea why they thought I should know about this. I have never written about either muxes or baluns. Never. Not once. And yet, it got me to thinking: What if MuxLab got into financial trouble and had to sell its baluns line to stay in business? The headline would have to be:

MuxLab stumbles; loses baluns

Not that I am for a second thinking MuxLab really is in trouble; as I said, I've never covered them. OK, maybe it's a good thing I don't actually write headlines around here anymore (still, anybody remember when Fran Tarkenton was CEO of KnowledgeWare? I do, I used to love writing headlines like "KnowledgeWare thrown for another loss" - OK, I'll shut up now).
