Troy Jessup discusses how infected files from P2P networks are getting into his network:
"Now to trojan a movie you would think is a little hard whereas it is not an application, but many people fail to look at the actual file they download. in this example, the file would look something like this: The_Matrix_Reloaded-Part1.mpg.exe Now with Windows generally hiding the 'know' file-type executeable, the .exe on the end would be hidden.
"In one of the most recent attacks on our network, this was the primary method of compromise for the machine which was then used to launch a Denial of Service attack out of our network."
