Ron is our long-time Help Desk editor, writing a weekly column to answer reader questions. Starting this week, though, you'll also see Ron in our forums, trying to help users solve their networking problems. We don't yet have a dedicated Help Desk forum, so you'll see him popping up everywhere from Security to Home Networking. So if you have a question, pop on over (or if you want to follow Ron's answers, we have a sort of Nutter-o-matic).
Speaking of the forums, we're getting ready to do some major revamping of them to make them more useful (actually, starting with Ron's participation), so I'd love to hear your comments on why they don't currently work and what we could do to fix them. Most immediately, one of the things I'm thinking of doing is requiring registration to post messages, because we're seeing a growing number of stupid "make money fast" postings and, well, I'm getting tired of deleting them. Thoughts?
